Week long 'working interview'. Essentially you did the job and learned as you went. Great team members, leadership team seemed a bit scattered. Overall good experience. Each day the team had lunch together, that was a great way to get to know the people that you'd be working with.

The first step in the process is phone screening by HR. If they're satisfied, they request you to provide previous writing samples. If you clear these two hurdles, they'll invite you to a personal interview; the interview is with two people from different departments (Demand Operations & Engineering).

The interview was hard but fair. Because I completed the take home challenge, I had a half day of interviews. There were three interviews in total. The first was a traditional interview, asking me questions about my experience etc. The second two were technical. The first was an overview of my take home submission. They asked me to explain my decision making process and my coding decisions to see how I think and to make sure I was the one that wrote the solution (rather than downloading it from the internet). The examination was really thorough. I wouldn't recommend trying to fake them out. The final interview was about designing add serving software. They asked tons of questions about what you would do if you were building the company from scratch. It was a long day and I was very drained afterwards. Be sure to plan for a nice dinner or lunch after you're done. You'll deserve it!
