Awful experience. Was contacted late after the scheduled interview time. They were very condescending throughout. It was apparent they did not look at my resume prior to the call. The recruiter basically hung up on me at the end and did not even allow me to thank him for his time and say goodbye. Also, why is SonicWall reaching out to potential candidates directly via text as a first contact? That is so unprofessional. Just send an email like every other normal company that has a link for them to schedule the call. Lastly, Glassdoor was purchased by Indeed so there is a TON of fake reviews. Companies pay to remove negative reviews EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. AVOID.

The interview process included a screening call with the recruiter, interview with the hiring manager and an interview with another manager. This was a lower level job in terms of experience and I was probably overqualified but lacked hands on security experience so thought it would be a great opportunity to learn and grow but it would have been a step back in terms of compensation. The last interviewer was very condescending from the start and seemed to talk down to me the whole time like they were above me, interrupting a lot of my answers telling me how I was incorrect when I was explaining my experience. I mentioned that networking wasn't my strongest area of expertise as I never directly solutioned networking products although have had a lot of exposure and was told to never say that again and I essentially got the feeling I wouldn't be moving forward from that one comment. The hiring manager and I got along very well and he loved my experience so I thought it would be a great fit but turned out to be wrong.
