The interview process took over a month and started with a phone call consisting with the whole i.t. team. So think of many people asking you questions one after another. The questions they asked were fairly easy such as tell me about yourself, what you know about the university, what is the mission statement and how can you use misison statement to help students, what are your hobbies, etc.
The on site interview was a bit diffucult. You are in the room with the whole i.t. team. Some questions were why choose our university and not the other ones, why are you the best candidate for this position, what do you know about networking, where do you see yourself in 5 years.
Overall, I know I didn't get the position since they told me they will make a decision in a few days. No email saying hey, "your resume and skills are very impressive, but we decide to go with someone else." It has been almost a month now since I interviewed.
Lastly, a few words coming from someone that is on the job hunt. It is okay if you don't land the position that you wanted. There will always be more opportunities to come. Learn from your mistakes, improve, keep applying, and you will ace your next interviews. You are so much worth and you deserve the best.
