Received call from HR for phone interview was completed quickly and moved to the next step of an interview with the hiring manager. The interview was a cross between technical and personality which went well. The next step was an interview with the hiring manager and VP which again seemed go well. This is where it got weird at this point having done 3 interviews and taken the time to travel and attend I would have thought a prompt response would be forthcoming? Instead a couple of weeks passed and finally an email from someone at HR whom I hadn't talked to thanked me for taking the time to meet with him bit I hadn't been chosen. Yes my pride might have taken a hit but I was surprised I didn't get any response from the hiring manager whom had been emailing back and forth prior to this. I would have thought I'd have gotten a "hey we went in another direction but thanks for your time". Left a little unprofessional taste in my mouth.
