First interview was a phone interview with recruiter. Interview was for checking qualifications and determining if should move to next round of interviews. Second interview was with managers and staff in the department. Mostly behavioral interview questions.

It seems such a smooth process at first but even after clearing two rounds of interviews they said no because of the pshycomatrics test which they asked me to appear. And after 4-5-6 days and after my follow ups, as per them test result was not satisfactory. I got the point, in the meanwhile they got another candidate who agreed at lower compensation. But I don’t understand why they don’t come and straight away tell us that they can’t meet our expectations. Thats so simple. And that won’t be demotivating atleast

short interview by recruiter followed by detailed interview by manager or management team, Manager conducting interview uses a set of pre-set questions. Each applicant is asked the same questions and graded on a set scale.
