The interview process is the most strangest thing I have ever experienced. They are looking for a TA that checks all their boxes yet when I was there the children were a danger to themselves and the people who worked there seemed unprepared and unprofessional. My shirt was ruined while I was on a shadowing experience where usually people get paid. This was not the case for this academy. You work for free for two hours and if the teachers don’t like you then you do not get hired. The place is complete chaos and the structure and rules students need are not put into place correctly. I would highly recommend do not interview here. No one should make you work for free and at work you should not be physically harmed by children even if they have mental disabilities there has to be safer practices put in place. The kids are allowed to throw things and hurt themselves and others. Very unsafe and no one was learning anything.
