1 round screening with Recruiter 2 round screening with Hiring Manager Hiring manager was not at all prepared and seemed uninterested in doing the interview. Couldn't even answer basic questions about their own company like 1. Do you work with third-party banks to provide these services? 2. What is the common technology stack used to provide these products/services? First, the interviewer asked me to explain what I understand about the position and the company. Next they asked about what questions I do have about the company. When I asked one, they cut me off and said let's move to their questions first. Fine. but then why ask for questions from me first. Overall, they just kept asking lame questions like What motivates you and things like that. Everything about this interviewer was rude and they keep passing comments like "I haven't heard you talk about X". Looks like "you want to work closely with Engineering" "This position is more than that". duh. Just troll-like comments which serve no purpose but just humiliate the interviewee. SoFi you need to do better on training this interviewer. Mind you this is a Director level person who interviewed me and was very rude and unprofessional. They even asked me if I have an account with SoFi. Does it really matter? Seriously
