I applied for an intern position, completed the HR screening, and advanced through the first round of interviews to the next round. However, just an hour before my scheduled interview for the next round, I was notified that the position had already been filled and all remaining interviews were cancelled. The abrupt cancellation at such short notice was deeply frustrating and reflected a poor candidate experience. Especially when candidates are investing significant time and effort to prepare.
