Applied on Feb 20, 2026. Set up a phone interview for Feb 26th. During the phone call, the interviewer described the position, asked me to describe my experience, and then insistently questioned whether I was close enough to the job to be considered. He was not familiar with the area he was hiring (he was from the Toledo area so had no idea how Cincinnati was laid out). When I explained that I lived in a rural area and that it was routine for people in my area to have to drive the 20+ miles it is into the city for work it seemed to overcome his objection and he scheduled me for a follow up with a district lead for the following Monday, March 2nd. This time it was a Teams interview, to which I accepted. He then proceeded to ghost me until March 6th, when he texted me asking for a reschedule for the following Monday, March 9th, with no explanation as of why or anything like that. I accepted, and they actually did show up this time, only to ask me the same questions about how far away I lived and if it would be a problem. After I reiterated that I would not have applied if I thought it was too far, they asked a few other questions, clearly a formality as the entire tone of the interview was one that seemed like they were completely uninterested and just going through the motions. Why reschedule if they weren’t interested to begin with? You’d have to ask them. Overall a complete waste of my time and now you couldn’t pay me to ever have any correspondence from anyone at Snapon ever again.
