Entretien
After applying online, I was invited to a virtual open house, where prospective applicants can meet the engineering team leads and the recruiting consultant to learn more about the company. It’s a great way to learn about what the software engineers do, their passion, and the company’s culture and mission. We also get to ask questions about the positions that we’re applying to. The hiring process was also explained to us, and we get to decide if we want to continue by emailing the recruiter to set up the interview.
I interviewed with the recruiter and a software team lead after the open house, and I was given a take home mini coding project. The entire process was clear and fast. They gave me feedbacks and updates along the way, so I always knew where I stood. I thoroughly enjoyed this interview experience.

Entretien
First interview was with a recruiter, then two interviews with senior engineers, one more generic, the other more technical focused on Frontend. Then another interview with the same recruiter mainly about benefits and next steps. Lastly short interview with VP of engineering. Same day I received an offer, which I accepted.
Overall the process was fast, all happened within a week, very positive and friendly compared with other companies. It seemed like here they really wanted you, and not tried to look for 'gotchas'. People I interviewed with were excited to work in the company.

Entretien
I was first contacted by their recruiter Sheryl a few days after applying online through their website. The entire interview process took about 2 weeks.
The process went as follow:
1. Open house with Sheryl and two other developers to learn more about SmartBiz and for them to know all the candidates.
2. Talk with one of the developers about a take home assignment focus on either front-end/back-end.
3. Review coding assignment with another developer.
Overall, I really enjoyed interviewing with SmartBiz I think their recruiting process is the best I've encounter. They were transparent with their entire interview process and what they expect from a candidate from the start.
