I was handled very nicely and taken by the hand through a set of 7(!) calls. I felt pretty confident with the HR person being very helpful, providing feedback and being very direct.

The recruiter was acting like a hiring manager, and straight away started firing the irrelevant questions without explaining the company, role or anything.
When asked generally recruiters explain the position/organisation etc. to the candidates, the response was I assume you must have read the JD. Is it even logical, in that case even the recruiter must have read the resume and so no interview should be needed?

I applied online and after a week received an invitation for a screening call with a recruiter. The conversation with the recruiter was touching general Q&A about my profile and the position. After a week, I was informed I'm moving forward to have a conversation with the hiring manager. It was scheduled for the next day, 2 weeks after I applied and a week after the screening call. The interview with the hiring manager went well. I had to describe how I am building products, where my profile could be beneficial, and the hiring manager described the team, setup, structure, etc. Overall, I think it went great. The hiring manager told me I'd be contacted by the recruiter again to let me know the outcome. So far, so good. The recruiter never got back to me, even after a couple of weeks. It's been more than a month now and I have no idea how things went.
Both the recruiter and the hiring manager sounded like nice people and overall I got a good impression of the company. But they failed to deliver at the end which speaks not only for themselves but the company they are representing as well.
