      The company seemed pretty interesting and the software sounded cool. Received an email pretty quickly after submitting application to set up a phone screen. Interviewer never called during the time we scheduled. I had to email him to get it rescheduled. He missed our second call as well. Have still not heard back and the position is still open so it seems like a disorganized mess over there right now.

      Sincerest of apologies for this experience, we can certainly understand why you may have the perception of SmartBear being a bit disorganized. While it is no excuse, we were inundated with candidates for this particular position. To address the matter and ensure this doesn’t continue to happen we are shifting resources to ensure there are no further issues.

      Standard online application. Received a response about 20 days after applying, which in my opinion is slow. Phone screen was pretty standard as well. Recruiter laid out the process fully, and made me aware they'd be sure to close the loop good or bad, which wasn't true. 18 days later, I finally met with the hiring manager after moving on in the process (we're now up to 37 days from application to step 2). After the call, never heard back from the recruiter, after a few follow up emails I removed myself from the process, 48 days after applying. Interviewed with the hiring manager

      I applied and heard back pretty immediately about a phone screen. I was then asked to come in for an in person interview but someone else from HR contacted me to set this up instead of the person I interviewed with. When I arrived the pro gal HR person wasn't there so I met with a 3rd individual. I interviewed with about 4 people and got positive feedback throughout the process. I was told I would hear back on Friday (my interview was Monday). I hadn't heard back by the Monday after was supposed to hear back so I sent an email to one of the three HR employees for an update. I've sent 3 emails and had no response and it's been over 2 weeks since I was supposed to hear back.

We make a concerted effort to provide a streamlined, engaging experience for each candidate however hiccups do happen from time to time.
