The interview process was very helpful. I had to wait several months before I was ready to leave my old firm so they tracked me for half a year to keep me offer ready. I got to have face time with people from all levels and it was very helpful for me to see the vision for the practice. I walked away with an extremely high view of Slalom and the company's culture. I feel like this is a place I can work for a very long time and a place where I'll be growing my skill set. I came on during a very early stage of the practice so I didn't have a technical interview, but I believe I'm the only one. Expect that your technical interview will want to see if you know your stuff. Otherwise, I had a really great process of seeing if Slalom would be a culture fit. Coming out of a large professional services firm, Slalom really said all of the right things in terms of work-life balance and no unwanted travel. In the four months since I've come on I can say that all of this is true.
