In short 'badly disappointed'. I am MBA student and have a lot of alums at the St Louis office. As per the company, there is no formal process and they rely on conversations. I loved this approach of knowing each individual. I absolutely loved the culture and the role I applied for and that is the reason I invested more than a year in understanding the firm and speaking with people. I interviewed with Slalom, St Louis after networking and making 7-8 connections in the office for almost a year. All the conversations were amazing and in the final one with Practice Area Director, it seemed that I am definitely getting the offer. But the next day recruiter calls me to say that you are a good fit to our organization and we would love to have you with us but unfortunately your experience is more for the Consultant(Solution Owner) position and less for any other senior position so we cannot extend an offer at this time. I have dropped an email seeking the exact reason but received no response and I am highly disappointed with this office. This is the worst reason to reject a candidate especially when both parties feel the match for the position. I still wish them all the best with the process because they are missing out on some great talent because of this. P.S out of the 5 rounds I had 4 people were great representatives of Slalom culture and one person was not. I went into that interview round with similar approach of having a great conversation but was instead met with a series of Question and Answers. If the company wants to maintain this interview process then at least have all the interviewers who are aligned with that approach.

- Phone screen with recruiter - Technical screen (30min - agile terms, ceremonies, etc.) - Rounds (60min - case study & discussion, 30min - behavioural interview with Project Lead) - Final interview with local head of of firm
