J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Skype (Londres, Angleterre) en janv. 2013
Entretien
I was originally applying to a separate job for Bing. Bing got me to do a short technical test. I was then told the position was no longer open and I was suggested the job at Skype. Skype asked me to do a tech test over the weekend at home. There were then four in-person interviews where they grilled me about the solution I'd given and asked a couple more basic coding questions.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
Write a program which implements "auto-complete". Given a large list of names (forenames and surnames), create a UI that the user can start typing a name into, and for each letter typed, the names for which the text is a prefix appear below the text box.
J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 2 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez Skype (Tallinn) en déc. 2014
Entretien
Great time with the process, I was contacted by a recruiter via LinkedIn. I had a Skype call with the recruiter that made a background check. After that she connected me with a team manager that explained me the job position and what I would do there, also he asked about my interests.
Next step was to complete an assignment that they sent to me through email. I had one week to complete it.
Then I had a F2F interview in the Skype HQ.
J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 1 jour. J'ai passé un entretien chez Skype (Prague) en janv. 2014
Entretien
One afternoon of interviews which turned out to be plentiful. Divided up into several passes, about 5, each with a different person holding the interview. In the end it wasn't that much effort required to complete it.
