J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez SkyWest Airlines (Salt Lake City, UT) en juil. 2016
Entretien
I applied online and within 2 days I got an email inviting me to go to an open house and they gave me a list of cities to choose from. I did mine in Salt Lake City. The open house was at the double tree hotel and you go there and there will tables set up and you will want to make sure you have your resume because they will ask for it and then will get your height to make sure you meet the height requirement. After that they will direct you into a room with all the other applicants. During this time make sure you talk to the people around you and make friends, it'll make the process a lot easier and relaxing. After everyone is seated they will do a little presentation and talk about the company afterwards they will give you a 15-20 minute break to go to the bathroom and ask questions if you have any. Once the break is over they start to call people up to tell them a little about themselves and let them know why you would make a good flight attendant in 60 seconds.
Make sure not to go over the 60 seconds and ramble!!! So many people up there would start good and then get nervous and ramble on and on...none of those people made it! Practice beforehand and time yourself if you have to to make sure you keep it within 60 seconds! Also keep it simple, I introduced myself told them where I was from and where I graduated from and then went straight into why I would make a great flight attendant. (Don't say because you love to travel, that is obvious) They want to hear that you love to serve others and are passionate about meeting knew people and making the people you meet satisfied with their service.
After everyone has had their chance to go they will give you another break at which point they will decide who will move on. They will put the names on a list on the door and the people on the list will then move on a have a face to face interview with one of the recruiters.
This interview is has a lot of questions of how you would handle a situation.
The person who interviewed me would not even look at me as I was answering and was just writing my answers on a notepad so don't worry. All the other people I talked to after my one on one said they had the same experience as I did.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
How would you handle a situation in which a passenger who had a carry on that you knew would absolutely not fit in the overhead compartment but was adamant about trying?
How would you handle a passenger that was visibly drunk and was still ordering more drinks?
It was a virtual one on one and after this process they alerted me of my training date a week later. The process was so pretty seemless and the company is good to work for but any little mistake you make you can be out.
