After completing a pre-screening call with a recruiter I was invited to meet her in person for a group interview. Upon completion of said interview I received a call back the following day stating I was invited to the final round of interviews with the branch manager as the recruiter stated my resume and interview led her to believe I'd be the "perfect fit." The following week I met with the manager for a one-on-one interview and the next day was called back and told he felt the same way and was excited to have me on the team as the fleet planner. In the next few days I got a call back informing me that unfortunately due to an instance in 2011 I would be unable to work with the company because of a felony charge. This was incredibly disheartening as I am an incredibly hard working individual who has exceeded expectations with every job I've worked at with enough experience to bring great things to this company so new here in the states. As someone who was so pumped to get this specific offer, I feel like penalizing someone who has made one mistake when they are otherwise the ideal candidate is a shame. It's really unfortunate that these types of hiring decisions are made because companies miss out of awesome employees. An offer was made and accepted, then rescinded afterwards. I would advise that Sixt reevaluate the way they make hiring decisions.. One mistake does not make people bad workers.

The interview process was easy and had excellent communication. After a quick prescreening call, there was a telephone interview and shortly thereafter an in-person interview. The overall process took less than 3 weeks.
