They were not overly tough in the interview. They just have fairly high expectations in candidates. Must have relevant work experience/college degree to even be considered. After offer you are required to take a drug test and background test. (You must not have more than 3 speeding tickets to be considered and your criminal history needs to be relatively clean).

Does take a long time to hear anything, they are a large company so you will have to wait until corporate HR has time to call you. Don't be surprised if you don't hear anything for a month or two after applying.

Two individuals interviewed me for the local sales assistant, ended up becoming a conversation about another position the company was looking to fill. Stations like mine are all moving focus toward digital, so that's where I ended up.
J'ai postulé en personne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Sinclair Broadcast Group (Las Vegas, NV) en sept. 2016
Entretien
Interviewer was very friendly and went down a long list of the standard interview questions. At the end of interview salary was discussed and was disappointingly low which the interviewer was aware of and seemed to agree. I inquired about the possibility of future increase in pay and/or potential for growth once established in the company but the response was not hopeful. Very nice people, just very low pay.
