Entretien
The overall experience was professional and structured.
The process included:
Step 1: Initial HR screening call - very informative & friendly (30 minutes)
Step 2: 1-hour interview with a Senior Manager– This was an open and insightful conversation about my experience and professional background. It went very well. We exchanged perspectives on project management, and I appreciated the opportunity to discuss ideas and points of view. The dialogue felt mutual and respectful, which gave me a strong impression of the company’s leadership culture.
Step 3: 1-hour case study presentation with 3 Senior Managers. The presentation went well, though it took longer than expected, it's hard to fit the 20 minute time-box. I felt that I presented what I was supposed to present during the sessions and I had positive comments at the end of the session.
Unfortunately, after the promising case study presentation, I received no further communication from the HR team. Despite following up via email to ask for feedback or a status update, I never received a response. This lack of closure was disappointing and left a very negative final impression on an otherwise positive process.
Even a brief rejection email or feedback would have shown respect for the time and effort candidates invest. I hope SimCorp improves in this area.
UPDATE: After several weeks without any news, I finally received a formal response informing me that my application had not been successful. The message was polite and respectful, acknowledging my background and expressing a willingness to stay in touch for future opportunities. That said, the long silence following my follow-up email left a mixed impression. A more proactive communication or even a simple acknowledgment would have been appreciated.

Multiple zoom interviews and multiple in person interviews. There was a panel interview for final round. HR interview to start the process. Process took about three months start to finish with a quick decision on whether to proceed or not.

Background on role and why looking to leave current position.
Ich habe das Gefühl, dass sie wissen, wofür und warum sie Mitarbeiter einstellen. Sie haben mir erklärt, wie meine Fähigkeiten in ihre Produktwelt passen würden. Das Bewerbungsgespräch war ausgewogen und gesprächig. Es gab nicht viele knifflige Fragen.
