Positive interviewing process. No whiteboarding -- just take home problem with the choice of answering in JavaScript or Golang. Order of screenings involved an initial recruiter phone screening, a tech screening with a senior engineer, and then a final "interview day" with 3 rounds of panel interviews from different potential teammates.

J'ai postulé via un recruteur. Le processus a pris 1 semaine. J'ai passé un entretien chez Sidecar (Philadelphia, PA) en juil. 2021
Entretien
I was cold-called by a recruiter for this position.
1. Thirty-minute screening call.
2. Take-home coding challenge.
3. Two and a half-hour interview, broken into four separate thirty-minute "speed interviews" with various folks from the engineering team.
The recruiter quickly scheduled an initial screening call but was ultimately rescheduled with a different person. The conversation itself was rushed and not very informative.
I enjoyed the coding challenge, and they are respectful of the interviewee's time (~2 hrs).
The final interview was much less technical than I anticipated. For the most part, it felt like back-to-back screening calls with canned "tell me about a time..." questions. At one point, we did discuss my coding challenge, but none of the questions asked pried at my thought processes or problem-solving skills.
I pressed my interviewers with some direct questions about company culture, turnover/retention, and the future of Sidecar. I feel I received some genuine and helpful details, but I was surprised and turned off by a few defensive reactions.
Ultimately, I wasn't interested, so I have no further details regarding compensation offers or the remainder of the application process.
