      I truly had an awful experience with the interview process at Shopwindow. It was the worst I've ever been through, by far. The CEO was belittling and condescending to me from start to finish. He policed my words, telling me that I am not allowed to use certain words and phrases, and cut me off when I tried to answer a question. I've never experienced this kind of treatment in an interview before. I can't even imagine what it would be like to work directly with him if I had been hired. It makes sense why the company has such a high turnover rate.

      O processo foi conduzido de forma cordial, porém apresentou vários pontos de atenção. A etapa com o CEO, em particular, foi extremamente exigente e trouxe um nível de profundidade no assignment que não havia sido comunicado inicialmente. Além disso, após a entrega, foi solicitado mais tempo e uma reformulação adicional do trabalho, aumentando significativamente a carga e a complexidade da etapa sem clareza sobre o real propósito ou critérios de avaliação. Também ficou evidente um desalinhamento entre o nível de exigência imposto e a faixa salarial oferecida para a posição, que não reflete o volume de tarefas, o grau de especialização e o padrão de entrega esperados ao longo do processo seletivo. Embora o contato tenha sido respeitoso, o processo como um todo poderia ter sido mais transparente, realista e coerente com o que a empresa efetivamente pretende oferecer.

      I was only screened, but the screening interview was very odd and pointless. I got asked odd questions that had nothing to do with the job like, 'what do you love?" and when I asked for clarification was told it was an open ended question. I felt like most of the interview was just one big mind game, which was irritating considering the pay wasn't even that great. When I received an email saying the they wouldn't move forward with my application, the email had no subject line and the email started with "Hi [CANDIDATE NAME]". Very unprofessional. Update: I would like to amend my experience by adding that the CEO personally called me to apologize about the impersonal rejection email I received. He explained the situation, apologized and offered help in my job search if there was anything he could do. I truly appreciate the initiative he showed, and it definitely helped make my experience a bit better.
