      I had lots of fun during the process, all the steps were clear and interviewers were all very helpful. However, I think the process takes way too long and they give you way too much task for what you are going to be paid.

      Hello! Thanks so much for posting a review, I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the interview process. The whole application process can take a little time; we want to make sure we're a good fit for each other. Our Technical Interview is essentially a role-play of what your daily workflow would be like were you to accept the position here. You will be asked a variety of different questions by our merchants, no two days are the same! It's important to be able to multi-task and think quickly to find a resolution. Then the Life Story lets us get to know more about you as a person, it's more of a conversation than an interview. We want to know more about you and what drives you! Our Talent teams do assess all roles within the company on a regular basis to ensure all compensation is meeting the current market value and competitive with other companies within the industry. The application process can take some time, but it is worth the wait! Thank you for the review here, and I do hope you'll apply again when the time is right for you!

      Interviewing was very robotic. Recruiter spent more time reading the CV than asking questions about it, it felt rushed, as if the interview was just set up an hour ago rather than a week ago

      The entire interview process was conducted remotely. First, there was a typing test, followed by a language proficiency test since the position was bilingual. Next, I was given an opportunity to demonstrate how I would handle customer support by responding to a customer email as a Shopify representative. In my case, the topic was related to domains. After that, I had a Zoom interview with an interviewer from Canada. Following this, she assigned me a task as the next step: answering a customer inquiry in the second language. This time, the question was about payments, and I answered it by referring to Shopify’s website. Upon passing this stage, I proceeded to the final interview. This time, an interviewer from the U.S. posed questions to me as a customer via live chat, and I had to respond in real time. The challenge here was to answer quickly and accurately, which was the most difficult part of the process.
