The process had 3 telephonic rounds followed by an extensive virtual onsite having 8 rounds. The first round was with the recruiter so discussion about my profile and interest towards role and etc. The second round was with the hiring manager to understand if I would fit in the team and culture well. The third round was a live coding round of 45 mins. I was given a coderpad link which already had like 10 or so questions mentioned already. I had to talk about my approach and solve it through the way. The coding exercise was in JS as role demanded React. I managed to solve 7 out of 10 correctly in allotted time of 30 mins. Rest 15 mins was intro, general discussions and questions. The virtual onsite was a 5:15 hrs long process with 8 interviews where the first was with Recruiter to set the connection, the last was with hiring manager for final questions and etc, both of these rounds were 15 mins each. Between them were 6 rounds of 45 mins each with a break of 30 mins. 5 of these rounds were technical and the remainder round was with a designer to understand my working as a frontend developer in harmony with the designers. There were 2 more coder pad sessions in these rounds which just had 1 question each. Again to be done in Javascript. Rest all were technical discussions and questions regarding same because I guess it is difficult to ask a person to code for frontend on the fly. So questions based on different scenarios and my approach towards it and stuff. This interview also judged if I was a good team player and how do I communicate within because I believe it is important to have a nice peaceful and balanced team with like minded and easy to go people. The rounds were one after the other and hence were extensive but was fun.
