The interviews were inconsistent. They would disappear for two-three weeks at a time, then suddenly express optimism about my application. I felt confident I had the job, but internal changes derailed the process TWICE. During the interviews, I couldn't get a clear answer about who I'd report to or what the next steps were. I went through four rounds of interviews, including a two-hour deep dive into my background. For a company that emphasizes accountability, I found the lack of consistency from the five people I met at Shiphero disheartening. Their public image seems polished, but internally, it's a different story. I hope others don't have the same experience. It's unprofessional to string someone along and then ghost them. I'm truly disappointed.
