Three step interview process; initial screening, interview with People Director and final interview with CEO.
All interviewers were extremely personable and dug deep into values as professionalism as well as technical abilities. While detailed, I didn't find the interviews 'hard' because they are focused on learning more about you and assessing if you're a values fit in the business rather than trying to trip you up on technical processes.
I interviewed during lock down, so all interviews were via phone or Zoom.
Everything was well scheduled and communicated.

One of the best interviews I've ever had. At the end, the interviewer shared with me what she had heard as my strengths from our conversation. It was such a lovely way to leave a candidate. Regardless of how it plays out, I have been left feeling like someone who is valued. It will also be really helpful for when I'm asked what my strengths are in future interviews.

Initial phone screen following up my application followed by more structured conversations to over skills, experience and alignment. Staged approach that provided the opportunity to connect with the founders and People Director and appreciate the business that they are building.
Although a formal structure to the process it was still relaxed enough to afford the opportunity to have the right conversations with the shilo team about the opportunity and the business itself. As I was hired during lockdown, all conversations happened virtually which still worked really well.
My expectations around timeframe/next steps at each stage of the process were well managed. Any delay was addressed, which demonstrated a commitment to candidate care that you don't see often.
