Call with the recruiter went great, everything you would expect. Upon relaying my enthusiasm about the role and relevant experience, the recruiter said that the HM would be incredibly excited to meet me. Incorrect. The director took the interview in a public Starbucks, where I could barely hear a word of what he said. He was also incredibly disinterested and asked barebones questions. He could've asked me how the weather was, and it would've been a better question than what he had prepared.
