Entretien
My application was responded to within 45 mins of submission and the interview was scheduled for the beginning of the following week I arrived early and got called in for the interview 10 mins. late. I was called by the wrong name twice but I knew who she was because I did my due diligence. on the way to her office she told me she had a resident happy hour going on and she could only give me a few mins. and perhaps I could help her with the happy hour...The interview hadn't even started. She then told me she didn't even read or reviewed my resume. The job was posted part-time and had a preferred requirement of a degree. When I mentioned my education she told me it didn't matter if I had an education for this position and that it was probably an old job post that I applied to! She asked the usual interview questions and then started to ask inappropriate questions such as if I needed to sit during the day and if I like to take vacation time. Then she asked me to follow her into the room where the happy hour was in progress and had me stand at the bar and wait while she grabbed something from the kitchen. Very awkward and unprofessional. When we got back to her office she said she assumed I was not working and had she reviewed my resume she would have seen that I was. She then told me she was hesitant to consider me because I could not give her 4 days a week (full-time). My reply was that I had an obligation and out of respect I needed to let the place I was doing work for time replace me. (2-3 weeks) but I could do part-time immediately 3 days a week. It was unprofessional and if I didn't know better based on the questions, discriminatory.
