[Remote job] Don’t expect a “blitz interview” or “get a job in 3 clicks” type of ideas.
The entire Interview process is divided into 5 blocks:
First encounter 10-30 min
This stage implies a call from our recruiter. Here we discuss general questions about the company, the job you are applying for, as well as your work experience in more detail. At this stage, we also discuss a test task, if provided.
Technical interview 60-90 min
At this stage, you will talk with our tech experts. Their questions will relate to your knowledge and experience. At the end of the interview, you will have space to ask your questions.
Team interview 60-90 min
At this stage, you will finally meet your future team and colleagues. They will be asking about your approach to work. Also, it is the best time to tell them more about yourself. Finally, you can learn all the details about projects and processes, so that you have a more accurate understanding of what you will be dealing with in this role.
Offer
This is probably the most pleasant stage. If everything goes well, you'll get a job offer from Semrush. And then, it is up to you to decide 😉 On average, it takes three to five days for a candidate to move from one stage to another.
Onboarding
At Semrush, Onboarding doesn’t end on Day 1. From the very first moment, your HR will take good care of you. You receive a comprehensive Onboarding checklist for the first months that ensures that you will get every piece of information and support you might need for your work. Your team leader or an assigned mentor will be there to help you make your onboarding at Semrush as smooth as possible.

The researcher reached out on Linkedin, we set up a call, she provided a presentation about the company overall and vacancy, she asked some basic questions about my experience as a Product Manager also answered my questions and told me about the next interview stages, also she suggested other Product Owner opportunities that could be interesting for me. The researcher was positive and polite, also she prepared a presentation about a company, which was really great idea because I've never seen such an approach before, it was much easier to visualise than just listening to some basic information. I got the impression that she really likes the company she works for. She also told me about the benefits, which I had not seen in any company before. Unfortunately, I didn't make it to the next stages, but I have a good impression of the company

Was contacted by a recruited via Linkedin.
The first call was an introduction to the company and the business unit. The recruiter asked me about my background and experience as a product manager/owner and answered various questions about the company and the role. She also mentioned other open roles and if I was interested in them as well.
The interviewer was respectful, cordial and polite. She informed me of potential future interviews if the the hiring manager is interested in my profile.
The next interview was with two product owners and an HR business partner. It was a very interactive and engaging exchange that felt more like a discussion than an interview, they asked me various questions about my background, experience..etc plus other general product management questions. we delved deep into certain use cases related to data, experimentation and strategy, which allowed me to get a sense of how Semrush does product management.
Again, the interviewers were very polite and humble, offering lots of insights and engaging in very interesting conversations.
The final interview was a culture fit with the development team, cross function (Design and UX research) and the hiring manager. They asked situational questions related to tech debt and interacting with engineers, How to leverage UX research and how to build a product strategy.
Overall the experience was delightful, the process was clear and it ended up in me accepting the offer immediately.
