Indeed there was an oversight, as the interviewer did not block off their calendar as out of office for the Memorial Day holiday (we were all working remotely due to COVID-19, so our 'regular' routine was disrupted). You had scheduled for a Memorial Day interview , so that is why we had to cancel and reschedule. We truly apologize for that inconvenience! When we did contact you afterwards, it was out of personalized professional courtesy to let you know we had received a lot of responses for the position, likely due to employment instability as a result of COVID-19, and that we appreciated your interest but would not be interviewing you for the position. Unfortunately, during that call our representative was experiencing poor Zoom connectivity, compromising the audio quality of that conversation.
