It was straightforward at first, phone screen + coding round. Recruiter said I may not be a good fit for the job I applied for and we went down another track. Afterward, I met with the team lead and Chief Data Officer. Thought the conversations went well. Based on my initial conversation with the recruiter, I thought that was about it, but turns out there were 2 more behavioral rounds. Next one, I met with 3 people, some stakeholders and another member on the analytics team. Thought the conversations went well again but they rejected me at that point. Didn't get much feedback other than they went with another candidate and perhaps there was some hesitation hiring someone from a larger company into a smaller one. My only issue is why would they even bother to even interview me if coming from a larger company was going to be a high probability blocker?

4 rounds in total:
- Recruiter Screen
- Technical Screen
- Hiring Manager and Technical leader interview.
- Cross functional Manager and CDO
Despite going through 4 interviews and spending 5+ hours in total combined (not including prep time) was rejected via auto generated email.
I really enjoyed speaking with a lot of the team, the hiring manager was great. The Tech lead was great.
The CDO was really awkward and a difficult interviewer not in the sense that any of his questions were particularly challenging (although I was told his questions would be more behavioral style and they were highly technical) he just lacks people skills and was a bit confrontational.
I will likely not seek out roles from this company again.

1 hour Technical screening , contains sql and python pandas and api calls questions. I specifically asked recruiter what kind of questions will be there in python pandas or data structures and algorithms. He said DSA and it was related pandas

Screening round with HR then second round there was a live coding exercise on SQL for 1 hour. Final panel round with 4 people consisting of managers and a director. It went well but surprisingly recruiter ghosted after the final round.
