Recruiter reached out on LinkedIn for the role. -> 1st Recruiter call -> 2nd Interview with hiring manager, but this got cancelled. Instead 2 team members conducted coding interview. Node.js and Express.js with TypeScirpt. Seemed like they focused more on syntax and the starting code had several issues which prevented successful compiling. They also asked few random questions about Microservices, Monoliths, etc. -> 3rd System design. Design a web crawler for giving URL. Lot of uncertainty about the requirements, especially what is required to be crawled and fetched from the pages. Had to dig it through by asking so many questions to the interviewer. Not very enjoyable exercise. Recruiter emailed they are not moving forward, which would have been an interview with leadership/CTO.
