Well, I thought I was meeting with the Owner or lead agent for an interview. Turned out to be a mass interview process. They said to be there by 10:30am, I was early, they asked me to fill out some paperwork (standard) and someone will be right with me. So about 10:31am ( no joke) A guy came up and introduced himself, not the one I was to interview with, and we went to his office. I thought this was going to be the interview. He said I missed the interview because it started promptly at 10:30?! I said I was here doing paperwork and waiting for someone. He asked If I wanted to come back at 1:00pm today! I looked at my time and it was literally 10:32! I said I could not come back (nor was I after this) but asked him some questions. Even though I was early and said it is just starting he said they do not interrupt the interview processes even though they were still sitting down.
They courted me over several days and to pull this crap. The building was rundown and dilapidated, smelled and not one professional employee in there. So I left. Huge waste of time and they truly are not as put together and or successful as they make it sound SO BE CAREFUL. I have been in the insurance business for 3 years and just looking for something to where I do not travel so much. Do not apply here, clearly all their Glassdoor ratings are fixed and by some staff. Con Job! The office is located in a more affluent part of Saint Louis, this was very misleading because the office is a dump!
Not once in my four or five phone calls was there anything that said a group mass interview STRICTLY AT 10:30! Well, I was there and not my fault the guy was being lazy.
Any small agency doing mass interviews most likely has huge turn over and poor system, certainly not what they convey.
