Got contacted the day after I applied to set up an interview with a recruiter. The interview went well and they told me they'd hand my resume off to the engineering department to see if they had any spots available. Unfortunately they did not have any more junior spots available.

Entretien
They asked mundane questions which really has no relevance in real world situations. Interviewer asked questions and expected certain answers despite getting another approach that still solved the problem. It seems like the interviewer was just stroking his ego.

Wanted to know the algorithm used when an index is utilized on the database. Not when you should use this index over that index, but what the optimizer is doing when an index is used.
