3 tasks, one to automate some front-end things, 1 back-end and one with database queries. Did the tasks as a peer programing session, with me building out a framework for testing as the interviewer watched. Got an offer, put in my 2 months notice at my current company. 6 weeks later when i asked about when my equipment would be arriving, only then did they let me know that they were discontinuing my position due to “economic reasons”. No further explanation. Extremely unprofessional, engineers dont really know what they need from a QA and management obviously cant plan a budget 2 months in advance. Dont care about messing with peoples lives, since they waited so long to cut the contract, even though the contract itself stated a 1 month notice period. Dont recommend, as management can obviously break off your contract at any time due to their lack of basic bussiness foresight, and i doubt anyone would like to work under such uncertainty.
