J'ai passé un entretien chez Santander (Milton Keynes, Angleterre)
Entretien
Interview process took roughly around about four to five weeks which included a call with a recruiter and one interview. Prior to having the interview I was sent an email listing who I would be having the interview with which instantly spark some concern with me as the person was a product owner and I questioned their level of ux knowledge. The interview was held via teams and was surprised to see two people on the interview panel as that was not stated in the interview. I felt they asked me pretty generic questions and I tried to answer using the star method including as much information as possible. I also shared my screen to show them my portfolio. I did ask at the end of the interview if they had any hesitancy in hiring me for this position in which they said no I also asked if anything I've mentioned needed any clarifications and again was told no so I was actually quite shocked and surprised when I was told that I didn't get the job.
Upon looking at the feedback that was provided it sparked a lot of confusion because when I compared the feedback received to the bullet points listed for this job role I had demonstrated those points in the interview. So ultimately this leads me to the fact that I didn't get chosen due to discrimination, or the product owners didn't really understand ux as much as they thought, or that this was just another fake job listing as I've now seen that this job has been put on the website again. Very disappointing and very telling of this company.
