J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 3 mois. J'ai passé un entretien chez San Jose Police Department (San Jose, CA) en mai 2016
Entretien
Wow, I have never seen a hiring/interview team so "ghetto" (lack of a better word). The process itself was so mismanaged and disorganized it was frightening. you were made to report to the front lobby in which you sat and waited 15 minutes beyond the time you were asked to report. The process itself was so rushed, unprofessional and disorganized it only got worse from there

Entretien
A quick interview with a panel about yourself, education, and work experience. Then the background interview which is 3 hours and gets very personal and seems almost too invasive. Makes you feel like you are under interrogation and many questions are too open ended.

Tons of tasks & milestones for the entire process. Multiple interviews in various forms with a variety of people and specialists. Very challenging, but in the end, it was worth it.
