Entretien
Quick and straightforward, I had 4 rounds of interviews ( the last round was 4 interviews) in total I was interviewed by 7 people. Everyone was kind and respectful they wanted to know about my background and my overall thoughts on IT and business process. The recruiter I worked with at Samsara was the best recruiter experience I have ever had.
First step was an interview with the recruiter. Next interview was with the hiring manager. Lastly was 4 rounds with different team members. The interviews were conversational, and I felt like I was able to ask my own questions and get a feel for the company as well. The recruiter was always in touch to keep me updated throughout the process, and I always felt like I was in the loop and knew what to expect. This was the quickest / easiest experience I have had as a candidate experience from application to hire, yet I never felt like they were cutting corners or doing their due diligence.

The interview process was a very positive and thorough experience. The interviews followed this process: recruiter, hiring manager, and four members of the team. Through each step of the process, I was able to get a strong feel for what it would be like to work at Samsara and my experience in the interviews have aligned with my initial experience at Samsara. I was provided with resources to prepare myself for Samsara's interviewing style. I used these over the course of a weekend to prepare myself and when I went into the interview I had ready but not too scripted answers. I would contrast this with other interview processes that go all over the place where you have to jump around from different topics which can be disorienting
