      Candidature

J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Sago (Iselin, NJ) en juin 2016

      Entretien

There was really no interview. HR asked me to bring in some sample of my work for in person interview without giving any specific requirement and suggested I get a laptop. As , I didn't have any specific requirement, I created 3 applications (WCF Service, Win Service and ASP Web Application) based on the job description to demonstrate my skills. Round 1 Met interviewers (lead and PM) . Gave a presentation/Small demo of my above mentioned sample applications end to end. Further , we went over the technical details and flow chart. It was a good demo and I received a positive feedback. Round 2 CTO met me and went over the company's profile and described his role to me. CTO then asked me some questions on my background and some other general questions. It was a good interview with CTO . CTO then asked me when can I join and he confirmed the annual salary that would be offered and asked me to wait for 5 minutes. Later, PM and Lead met me. The Lead asked me if I had any more applications to present. As this was my personal laptop , I had only 3 applications that I had created over the weekend. I informed him that I don't have any other samples right now ,but, I would be always very happy to create one based on the requirement. Later, The Lead mentioned he will get back to me and escorted me out. After a week, on checking with HR, I was informed by HR that they have gone ahead with another candidate. There was really no interview that took place that day. And I regret applying and appearing for the interview. I wish I could have remembered name of Schlesinger Associates for the right reasons and have used my time in a better way ! Fortunately, I have another offer.
