Met HR rep at Career Fair. Told to post position online. Called in to interview and asked to bring social security card. Standard questions why do you want to work here, will you have any limitations, etc.
Once hired you have to attend a 4 hour Service and Safety Class and then complete an online training course. I found the training to be interesting and helpful in preparing you to perform for your job. You have to memorize scripts that have to be repeated to every customer. Your performance in repeating this process with every customer is measured by Safeway who hires secret shoppers to shop and evaluate your performance as such.

It was very informative and I felt comfortable with the knowledge that my interview would be considered with the utmost thought. I did not land the position, but have no ill will, they were right in the deli did not suit me. A barista position was far more paletteable

pretty easy and straightforward tho didn't get the job. probably shouldve done more prep. didn't have much experience with deli work which may have been why i didn't get the job but oh well

Great attention to detail and fluid information there were multiple follow ups the process was smooth I would others to look into this opportunity everything was structured communication was fluid
