Interview is technical, so prepare accordingly. Even the exam was too much technical. So good preparation is must to crack the interview. Also, they offer design role, so it is better to learn about the designing of distillation column, heat exchanger so as to ace the interview.
online round with basic quant and english questions and core chemical engg questions.
it was easy and you dont need to mug up any formulas for it.
there was no negative marking.

interview as also nice.HR was nice person and the technical interviewer also had good knowledge of chemical engg.
questions were design of heat exchanger,and distillation tower
ways to increase U in exchanger and decrease pressure drop in distillation column.
Explain vapor pressure and partial pressure.

tell me about yourself ...and den abt the projects undertaken by us...they kept on asking abt the projects i did in btech as wel as in mtech in detail.... .....they kept on questioning me upon whatever i spoke ....like i said reflux ratio...then they kept on asking me ..what is reflux ratio....in a standard condition how much reflux ratio we have to incorporate? how u wil find operating reflux ratio from mcabe theile?
