I was initially contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn who discussed the role with me. Subsequently, I engaged in a series of interviews with both external recruiter to assess my skills and the position's fit. Following this, I had the opportunity to meet with the hiring manager, who verbally confirmed my progression to the final onsite interview stage. Unfortunately, I received a rejection at this point. In retrospect, I must admit that I had reservations about continuing with the interview process after my discussions with the external recruiter. In hindsight, there was a miscommunication, and I regret not following my initial instincts. I wouldn't had got lied to.
