I applied online, on their website, and was conctacted via email a few weeks later asking if I would be available for a phone interview in a few days. I accepted this interview and then was called a few days later, this interview consisted primarily of asking about my background and what types of things I enjoyed doing. I think at this point they were looking for people who were adventurous, outgoing and willing to work hard and travel around. I was contacted, again via email, a few days later saying I had made it to the second round of interviews which would be held in Clebourne, TX, and that they would send me an email with all the details. The 2nd interview, in TX, lasted three days. It started out with with a "get to know you excercise" where people would get up in front of everyone and answer a question i.e. whats your favorite cartoon character, sing your favorite song, or whats your most embarrasing moment etc... This was followed by a few presentations about Schlumberger. Next was a team building excercise, we were asked to build an egg protector that could keep the egg safe from a 10ft fall. Then we did group presentations on topics which we had been assigned the previous week. Then we had dinner and more presentations about SLB. We then were given PPE gear for the next days visit to an oil well site. That night we all got to bed at about 3:30 a.m. and had to be up at about 7:00 a.m. The next day started off with a short hike to a nearby oil rig, followed by an hour bus ride out to see one of their job sites. We spent about a half hour watching the job take place, it was by far the best part of the interview , it was really cool. On the bus ride back we did self presentations in which we were asked to answer a few questions about ourselves and about SLB. The questions were: 1. Name, 2.School/Major/Grad Date, 3.Pro/cons of SLB,
4. MacGuyver Moment, 5 Why SLB should hire you. We then had another presentation and then went out to dinner, followed by exit interviews. In the exit interview they ask you a few questions, go over your transcripts and they give you an opportunity to ask questions. The next day we went home.
