I applied for an administrative assistant job provided by S2 consulting. At first everything was normal. But while this guy asks me questions, the questions get offensive. The strategy of this guy is humiliate you, makes you feel you will never get a job, and then ask you to pay them in order to get an interview with employee

why you have two month break in between jobs? Is that because you are lazy and inconpetent?

Waiting -
Finished an online form as a client (you'll have to as every new comer is regarded as a client).
Heard the owner of a certain room shouting ageism comments on a certain candidate (possibly me).
Interviewing -
- Went through all the basic questions without giving a review of the job description.
- Was told another candidate would be a better fit. [Then what did you call me out for an interview for?]
- Was urged to use (but didn't take) their pricey services.
Closing -
- Transferred my case as a client to another employee and closed the interview without a handshake.
Remark: Friends and relatives told me that I should've left immediately when hearing ageism bad words, but I still insisted to finish the process due to professionalism.
