It was a day long process including a presentation, dinner and panel interview questions, meeting with the Executive Director and dinner. I started about 10 am and did not conclude until 7pm. I applied internally and forgot about the opening only to receive a call several months later that I should come in for an interview. I had to prepare a 20 minute presentation. I didn't get the position but it allowed me an opportunity to gain visibility within the department which opened the door for future opportunities.
