I applied to Runna for a Product Manager position. I personally love the Runna product and podcast, and was very excited about my interview. First few rounds were great - one with HR, one with two product managers and one with a product manager & CEO. They asked me to complete a project to do with app features which I spent a long time on - interviewing my friends, conducting surveys and finding the pain points in Runna. I presented it to the CEO & one of the other product Managers. They asked a few difficult questions about LLM's which I wasn't completely sure about. After the interview they rejected me and I decided this was the reason why but was still very keen to get some feedback as this was honestly my dream role. I asked for feedback and my email was ignored. I then messaged on LinkedIn and asked for feedback again. Finally a feedback session was set up. I joined the call and the person said "were you the person who did ..." and I said no. He then went on to say at one point I didn't speak for a moment in my interview and him and the CEO were both laughing about it. There was no feedback on the project or my skills/experience. I'm not even sure if he remembered me but honestly felt super let down by the Runna team. Anyway still love the product and hope the team read this and don't say the same to anyone else.

Met with CEO directly and he created a special role for me to interview for. He basically assured me there was a job for me and the rescinded at last minute. Very frustrating and misleading interview process. Seemed disorganized.
