I attended the interview process for a Data Engineer Intern role. The overall experience was smooth and well-organized. The process consisted of an aptitude test, a coding round, and a technical interview.
In the aptitude round, questions were based on quantitative aptitude, logical reasoning, and basic verbal ability. The difficulty level was moderate.
The coding round focused on basic problem-solving using Python. Questions included string manipulation, finding duplicates in arrays, and simple logic-based problems.
In the technical interview, questions were asked on SQL (joins, group by), Python concepts, and basic data engineering topics like ETL and data processing. I was also asked to explain my projects and the tools I used.
