That date passed with zero communication.

Being ghosted by a "luxury" brand after a formal interview is the height of unprofessionalism. The sudden shift in tone and subsequent silence felt less like an administrative delay and more like an exclusionary practice. It is clear that the "excellence" Rolls-Royce markets to the world does not extend to how they treat professionals during the recruitment process.
The Outcome:
I have since formally withdrawn my candidacy and CC’d their executive leadership (including the CEO and Director of HR) to ensure this lapse in transparency is flagged. If you value your time and expect professional courtesy, be wary of this organization’s recruitment team.

Standard competency questions, but the real issue was the total lack of follow-through and integrity regarding the promised timeline.
Advice to Management:
Stop ghosting qualified candidates. It tarnishes the brand's reputation and creates a perception of bias. When you promise a follow-up date, meet it. Luxury shouldn’t just be in your products; it should be in your professional conduct.
