I was called for an interview, upon going there, the HR escorted me to the room. Once in, she started scolding me that I have significant gap in my career and I never seem to stay in a job for more than a year. When I retaliated and I told her that I have been in my past job for more than one year, she insisted that it's not close to two years. During the whole interview, she kept talking in a scolding tone and manner, and there was another woman next to her, who talked as calmly as possible. The initial HR is just unprofessional in her approach, calling candidates for an interview then scolding them because they did not stay in their past jobs for a sufficient amount of time atop of taking career breaks, I have been to so many interviews in my life but never have I gone to an interview where the HR was so unruly, unprofessional and used intimidating tactics (which didn't work on me). The HR had my Curriculum Vitae prior to calling me to an interview, if I wasn't a good fit for the job, then should not have asked me to pay transport, use my valuable time and come to such an uncivilised interview. Just because she's an HR she thinks she can treat candidates in a condescending manner. If I wasn't a good fit right from screening my CV, should have used her brains and not call me for an interview.
