J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. J'ai passé un entretien chez Robert Half (Princeton, NJ) en avr. 2018
Entretien
I had a video call interview with one of the recruiter and I never hear anything back from him. I wrote an email to follow up and left a voice message, but he just disappeared on me. Not a trustworthy agency to find a job. Unhelpful and a waste of my time.

The process was easy. I applied and within a short time period got an email follow up and and a phone call. I interviewed and got the job. It went well.

I was assigned a recruiter quickly once I starting inquiring for creative work through Robert Half. I was contacted by the recruiter to help me secure a temp position in my field and she seemed like a rockstar recruiter at first. She gathered information about my skills and even provided free resources for me to utilize to enhance a few software skills to better boost my chances of securing a gig. Unfortunately, after 2 interviews that weren't good fits, she just faded away, never to be heard from again.
A year later, I contacted the agency to update my resume and within a week, I received a call from another recruiter who wanted me to consider a position she was seeking to fill with a client. During our conversation, she went over the details for the job and she also mentioned a second position she had with the same company that she wanted me to look over. The recruiter made it clear that she still wanted to proceed with me applying for the first position with her client, however. I told her she could send the details for the second position for me to look over and I would get back to her with my decision. After reviewing the second job, I actually felt much more confident in fulfilling the duties and responsibilities for that role than the one she initially offered me during our conversation, so I asked her to only pursue what was needed to secure a meeting with the client about the second position. After making that request, she disappeared too, even after sending her emails and attempting to contact her line directly. Just poof! Gone. Weird.
I'm not sure what's up with this agency's half-stepping communication system, but it's really horrible to experience from the receiving end as a prospect just trying to secure work in positions where I'm confident I can do the work well.
