No difficult questions at all. I expected to be drilled on behavioural scenarios, technical competency and experiences.
What do you know about Robert Bosch? Such a no brainer question.
Hiring Manager and HR person were in the same room. The hiring manager went on to give me a long powerpoint presentation of all the products/services that were the division/sector's core business and too much information about what they do.(please, I can do my own research on the website). I wasn't impressed with his presentation skills for one thing, and he obviously isn't the subject matter expert of the role that he is hiring for. The hiring manager provided too generic and unsatisfactory answers to my questions regarding the position/role. I expected more from a senior manager. I have no confidence in this person who will be my direct line manager to provide constructive decision making if I ever had to seek his counsel. If this is the quality/calibre of senior management then good luck to the organisation trying to sell to tough customers when he couldn't conduct an interview in a professional manner. It leads me to believe that one moves ups through long service and definitely not for one's leadership qualities or excellent performance.
